Congratulations to the Mayer/Cattat Family for winning the 2024 MTC "Best Project" award! They read books from the Old Forge Library, educating themselves & others about the Adirondack Park, its conservation efforts, & effects of climate change on the local environment. A wonderful self-directed, environmentally-focused improvement project! Thank you for supporting MTC and for your efforts!

Thank you to Scott Dean and his kids for removing graffiti from boulders on the Bald Mountain trail (August 2024)! His family was inspired when he saw photos of graffiti shared by one of our MTC participants. Thank you for your efforts, and thank you to our MTC participants for their inspiration!
Friends of Moody Pond in Saranac Lake held an Earth Day cleanup (April 2024) taking on the Leave No Trace Challenge after seeing this global event posted on our MTC Facebook page. We hope this inspires others to take the challenge and protect the Adirondack Park!
